Recent letter that one of our customers sent a Corvette magazine to put us on another top 100 list of reputable shops.

Gentlemen:

I response to your interest in identifying Corvette shops that are out there with whom I have had excellence experience I'd like to introduce to you Mr. Paul Lutz, owner and operator of Corvette Technicians, located in North Versailles, PA.

Experience Statement: I am the proud owner of a body off restored 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. I have owned this car, and I might add have been restoring it, for over 15 years. Several years after buying, at the time of purchase, this basket case", and after several disappointing experiences with other shops I met Mr. Lutz and began what has become a long term friendship and business relationship with Paul and his team as we traveled the well worn restoration path.

It is difficult for me to fully explain the outstanding work done by Paul and his team (so I am attaching a recent photo of my car so you can full appreciated the work done by Paul and his team) and the many courtesies experienced while visiting what I believe to be the absolute most knowledgeable, committed team of Corvette restoration professionals located in the best, cleanest and most capable facility I have ever seen. Since this car is a driver, and not just a show piece, I can tell you that the results of Paul's efforts are outstanding and that I'd drive this car cross-county, in a heart beat, and with the full confidence that it would be a successful and fun adventure; that's the level of comfort Paul's work inspires in his customers!

There is no doubt that Corvette Technicians belongs on your soon to be published list of the 100 Best, and I am extremely proud to introduce you to Paul and his team.

Thanks for listening to me and I am sorry I may have exceeded your 25 words or less request; however, it is difficult to describe Corvette Technicians, and their capabilities, in 25 words or less.

"I tried calling the shop a couple of times this week to thank you, again, for all of your HARD work and ATTENTION to detail on our car. We got the appraisal for it's value -- $34,500+ ! This was more than we expected!!!! The appraiser was totally overwhelmed by your work - especially on the front end, and the powder coating of so many parts. He rated it between a "1" and a "2"; saying that, with a "1" rating, we'd probably be given a limited mileage rating."

"Paul.
It's easy to tell you about our feelings toward you and your facility. We met you on the phone after a large, local Chevy dealer refused to help us because of his liability concerns associated with the deteriorated condition of our Corvette frame. Our car is a 1978 Silver Anniversary from Ontario, Canada. It was my wife's 50th birthday present and therefore very special! We came to see you at your facility which was as clean and well organized as any doctor's office. Your friendly, calm, and knowledgeable manner put us at ease. You proposed a course of action and we agreed. You found a frame for us and began our major restoration. I recall the restoration because you took pictures of each step and gave copies to us. I remember that you chalked some identifying marks on the frame. You told me you did this because new Corvettes had these markings and you wanted it to be "like new". That was a thoughtful detail. You asked if my wife would be the main driver, and when we answered yes you proposed we upholster the driver seat pad with more padding so that she would sit higher and thus have a more comfortable ride. These are just two examples of your help. There have been many, many since. I am very pleased to have found you. You are our Corvette Technician and you have made our Corvette ownership the thrill it should be. Many thanks!!"
